DB Cargo in Russia
DB Cargo consolidates assets to expand presence on Russian market and in Customs Union countries.
As of June 29, Railion Russija Services has been working from new offices. The new address is 115230, Moscow, 1 Nagatinskij Proezd 10, office 27, “Newton Plaza” Business Center, Nagatinskaya Metro Station.
This year’s TransRussia took place at the Crocus Expo exhibition center in Moscow from April 21 through 24. The TransRussia is one of the major international transport and logistics fairs and celebrated its twentieth anniversary this year.
The Chamber of Industry and Commerce hosted an event entitled “European Logistics for Industrial Enterprises in the Republic of Tatarstan” in the city of Kazan on April 16, at the invitation of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Over the last few months, DB Schenker Rail has launched a marketing campaign in the Russian market. Targeted measures are focused on winning additional customers and boosting transport volumes there.
According to Hans-Georg Werner, Member of the Management Board for Region East of DB Schenker Rail, "Rail freight transportation will take a leading role by 2020".
